The Beatles have made a triumphant return to the charts with their new song "Now and Then" debuting at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The track features vocals recorded by John Lennon in the late '70s, guitar by George Harrison in the mid-'90s, and new recordings from Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. This achievement extends The Beatles' record for the most Hot 100 top 10s among groups, now with 35. It is also their 72nd Hot 100 hit, the most hits among all bands who play their own instruments. This marks the longest break between top 10s for any act with sole billing, at 27 years, 10 months, and two weeks.
